NEW WEBSITE DESIGN

Because I wanted it to more effectively represent all of my crafts and personality, while ultimately giving You (my readers and viewers) a better experience, I planned to update my website’s design, since quite a while.

I needed something with more character, to not just show and encompass my work, but to also express how I feel about myself today and not some years ago. Due to that, I decided to rearrange things, and after making the needed photos and experimenting with some of my favorite fonts and effects, an idea was born. The same I then adjusted accordingly to each of the pages, and that process made me want to do something: A quick tour video, in which I briefly explain why everything looks, the way it does now.

So let’s run the intro and begin with the first page.

Blog Page
Scripts for my youtube videos, I publish all of my articles and essays to this page, thus placing some of their thumbnails on the banner’s background made so much sense.
Instead of picking them randomly, however, I decided to use two simple criteria, when making the selection. (A) If the creation of a video, really pushed me to improve my skills? And (B) How much you enjoyed them. Considering both made me end up with those you see on the blog page banner. They didn’t just make me step up my writing and content-creating game, but also were most appreciated by you. Which means that to some extent You also helped with the choice.

Music Page
Besides consisting almost all of the music I ever produced this page does two things. (A) It tracks the evolution of my musical style. (B) Shows my transformation from a turntablist to a producer who celebrates the art-form in all of his tracks. And sometimes films and edits his own plenty of visuals containing music videos. Entirely created by me you can listen to every one of my releases and the artworks of those I’m most proud of, I placed on the page banner.

Home Page
While seven POTB’s represent the renaissance person and partly hint some of my crafts, the eyes on the back symbolize two things: (1) My higher self or ultimate version. In namely my holy guardian angel. And (2) my and connection with the divine. Invoking the same such as the lighting bolts are both results of those seven people unison work. Finally, the background making, blank DAW project speaks for the creation of something out of nothing.

About And Contact Pages
While the first contains my short story of how I started doing everything I do, the second can be used to get in touch with me, and pretty much ask me whatever you want.
Due to that, I came up with the edited photos and mail envelopes, you see on both of them. Later I added the used for background in my YouTube videos POTB patterns. And that made everything look nicer and better matching with the content I create.

Although I may slightly adjust things in the future, I’m pleased with how everything looks on both mobile and nonmobile devices. It took me some time, but it also didn’t cost me anything. I feel it serves the purpose it should and most importantly it’s all made by me. Yet, I’ll be even happier if that inspires you to stop relying on other people’s services and never be afraid to do things on their own.

All of the people who inspired me to what I do weren’t just exceptional performers but also had their own unique styles, looks, and characters. And since that also massively influenced me, I always strive to bring that aspect as well.
